Investment Philosophy

Five tenets. One horizon.

We believe that enduring value is not the product of clever timing, but of clear principles applied without compromise across decades. These are ours.

I

Duration is our edge.

We invest permanent capital with no fund life and no forced exits. This structural advantage allows our companies the time required to compound value the way great enterprises always have — slowly, and then all at once.

II

Concentration over diversification.

We hold a small number of exceptional businesses at meaningful scale. We would rather understand ten industries deeply than one hundred superficially.

III

Quality is non-negotiable.

We invest only in franchises with durable competitive moats, honest operators, and predictable long-term economics. When we cannot find quality, we wait.

IV

Alignment above all.

We back founders and operators as true partners. We share risk, capital, and reward — and we hold our own commitments to the same standards we ask of them.

V

Discretion is a discipline.

We conduct our affairs quietly. Our reputation is built by the businesses we have helped build, not by the transactions we have announced.

The Charter

"We do not measure ourselves by the wealth we accumulate, but by the institutions we leave behind."

— Founding Charter, 2013
